The legendary reputation of the twin-lens Rolleiflex is, of course, due in large part to its outstanding lenses. Constructions such as Planar and Tessar, Xenar and Xenotar, to mention only a few of the camera lenses with maximum aperture of f/2.8, are synonymous with superior optical precision and performance. They have established the worldwide reputation of "Made in Germany" in photography. DHW Fototechnik GmbH, at the traditional location in Brunswick, has built on it and introduced a new generation of top-quality lenses the Apogonen.

The design principles are characterized by a very small field curvature and very high color correction. In connection with the HFT coating these lenses ensure highest resolution, excellent contrast reproduction and superior color brilliance

Available is the Rolleiflex 2.8 FX with Apogon 2,8 / 80 mm HFT, lens cap, shoulder strap, size III filter bayonet. The standard camera cover is executed in brown calf leather with crocodile embossing. The back wall with chrome side edges gives the camera a genteel elegance and the lettering on the camera front is exactly the Rolleiflex cameras of the 30s. Even the best strap holder of the earlier models been used again.

It is also possible that this camera is designed to the customer's wishes. Both the color of the leather, and the coating of the fittings can be chosen freely.
